I'm Matt McWilliam. By day, I run a design and digital marketing business. But when I'm off the clock, one of my favorite ways to unwind is with a camera in hand. Usually that's out on a trail, exploring somewhere new, or just looking for interesting light around the city.
Photography isn't my job. It's something I've always been drawn to. Over the years, it's become a quiet way to absorb my surroundings, pay attention, and document moments that would otherwise come and go without much notice. I've never chased perfection with it. I just enjoy the process. Learning to be more observant and noticing more, taking in the lighting and setting up the composition, and occasionally coming home with a shot I'm really proud of.
This site is where I collect and share some of those photos. I just wanted a space to organize my work, look back at how far I've come, and maybe connect with other people who enjoy doing the same thing.

Standing in front of the Parthenon on the Acropolis in Athens. A quick iPhone 7 Plus portrait, but the marble columns and that blue sky did most of the work.
